Facades shape the aesthetic appearance of buildings. But what additional requirements must facades meet in a time of strong population growth, urbanization and climate change? And what role does the digital transformation play in this?
Leading experts from the facade industry and globally active planning offices will show and discuss the sustainable influence that future-oriented facades will have on health and quality of life inside and outside buildings.

The building envelope represents the transition from the exterior to the interior of the building and has to fulfill different tasks and functions. It shapes the external appearance of buildings, has a considerable influence on the well-being of the interior and contributes to a healthy surrounding environment. In order to meet these requirements, sustainable holistic planning involving all disciplines is essential. A great task, the solution of which seems possible through the digital transformation in façade business!
