Children Village – Formoso Do Araguaia is part of the Canuanã School building complex located on the edge of the rainforest, making an effort to educate disadvantaged local children. It is one of 40 schools of this kind which can provide a home up to 540 children aged 13 to 18. Male and female students live in separate buildings. Not only does the building structure bring together the community, it also directly promotes communication.
