Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Urbanism (1991), a Master's Degree in Architecture (1998) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS and a PhD Degree in Civil Engineering (2009) from Campinas State University. Had run her architecture office (1993-2010) and since 2010 has been an Associated Professor from the Architecture Department at Faculty of Architecture of Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Where is responsible for the Environmental Comfort Laboratory. Has published many papers in national and international conferences and journals as a researcher of Architecture Research and Post-Graduation Program PROPAR. In 2014 has been a visitor professor at OWL. Her studies are focused on the influence of lighting on people and environmental comfort.
