Kristina Herrmann is a research assistant at the TH OWL. In 2003 she completed her education as an interior decorator. From 2003-2009 she worked as a product designer at ell+ell Upholstery Furniture. 2014 Bachelor of Arts Interior Design. 2017 Master of Arts Interior Architecture - Spatial Art with the thesis topic: The Sound of Matter. Since 2017 she has been responsible for project coordination in the research focus perceptionLab at the TH OWL Detmold School of Architecture and Interior Architecture.

Her expertise is in the analysis of human-space-object interaction with a focus on the interaction between man and material. Further areas of research include Human-Centred-Design, Artistic Research, Sustainable Interiordesign in the context of society, environment and future.

 

Kristina Herrmann is a member of the Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten BDIA (Association of German Interior Architects) and has been a member of the advisory board of the NRW state board since 2020.

Kristina Herrmann ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der TH OWL. 2003 absolvierte sie eine Ausbildung zur Raumausstatterin. Von 2003-2009 ist sie tätig als Produktdesignerin bei ell+ell Polstermöbel. 2014 Bachelor of Arts Innenarchitektur. 2017 Master of Arts Innenarchitektur-Raumkunst mit dem Thesis Thema: Der Klang der Materie. Seit 2017 ist sie verantwortlich für die Projektkoordination im Forschungsschwerpunkt perceptionLab an der TH OWL Detmolder Schule für Architektur und Innenarchitektur.

Ihre Expertise liegt in der Auseinandersetzung zur Mensch-Raum-Objekt Interaktion mit dem Fokus der Wechselwirkung zwischen Mensch und Material. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind Human-Centered-Design, künstlerischen Forschung, nachhaltige Innenarchitektur im Kontext von Gesellschaft, Umwelt und Zukunft.

 

Kristina Herrmann ist Mitglied im Bund Deutscher Innenarchitekten BDIA und seit 2020 im Beirat des Landesvorstand NRW.
